About the Founder
Before founding Lemoine Consulting, Zac Lemoine spent nearly 15 years working at the intersection of policy, politics, and public service in Louisiana. His career has taken him from rural courthouses to the Governor’s Office, from legislative committee rooms to higher education boardrooms—and through it all, he has focused on one thing: helping good ideas find traction in complex systems.
Zac has served in senior roles across Louisiana state government, including in the Office of the Governor and the LSU President’s Office, where he led initiatives in government affairs, strategic communications, and policy development. Known for his thoughtful advising and clear-eyed analysis, Zac brings a deep understanding of how decisions are made—both in public and behind the scenes.
A native of Grant Parish, Zac was shaped by small-town values and big-picture curiosity. He’s worked with elected officials across the political spectrum, built coalitions on tough issues, and coached leaders through high-stakes moments. His background gives him a rare perspective: he understands how government works—and how it sometimes doesn’t. More importantly, he knows how to help organizations, advocates, and leaders find a path forward.
Lemoine Consulting is the natural extension of that work. Whether clients are navigating a policy challenge, crafting a message, or building long-term strategy, Zac offers honesty, creativity, and a steady hand.
When he’s not deep in a legislative session or glued to the news, Zac enjoys reading fantasy novels, riding airboats, and obsessing over Star Trek plot lines with his husband and their very opinionated pets.
